About Me
I had them installed by a local truck shop. I had them pulled off and had the black tubular Westin boards. I had to crawl in on my knees, but he installed these running boards and now its so easy to get into the truck!! I had to use the clips and bolts which were on the original running boards. I have a '99 with chrome tubular step bars. I have a Jeep Wrangler and when I checked the reviews for this particular running board, I liked what I was reading and I decided to purchase it. Two years down the line and am still enjoying its service. I have had my FX4 for two weeks now but just got the boards on a few days ago. I have tried stepping on the running boards which James installed on his truck and it is sturdy and strong. I have Westin bars on my Chevy Crewcab to help my wife and baby boys get in the truck.
I just got my new Superduty with no running boards. I just recently became the owner of a brand new Ford F150, my dream truck, until I can afford a 350. I know several guys who had to put those boards on their tall vehicles for medical reasons, and that includes ME for my wife's 2012 Grand Cherokee and my 2016 Tundra. I like the clean look of the truck with the steps. I like the flat surface running the length of the boards. I love the boards and they work flawlessly.
